Glass is a highly recyclable material, despite which, end-of-life building glass is almost never recycled into new glass products. In the UK alone, almost 200,000 tonnes of glass is currently sent to landfill each year.

When windscreens and other types of glass are needlessly sent to landfills they not only take up space, but valuable materials that could have been recycled from the glass are wasted. This increases Co2 and forces more harvesting of natural materials that could have been avoided by recycling, this is why with every piece of glass saved we help the future of our planet.
